Director—San Diego Area

· This position focuses on developing faith-based relationships with youth and their families, in addition to welcoming, educating, equipping, and empowering young people in their life of discipleship. Candidates for this position will have a solid understanding of Lutheran theology, model a mature faith in Jesus Christ, demonstrate a passion for youth ministry, be organized and effective managers of time and resources, and be able to equip and mentor others. The candidate should be a leader who is a self-starter, and someone who works well in a team environment with other staff, youth, parents, and congregation members. Coordinator of Caring Ministries

· San Marino Community Church (Presbyterian), San Marino, CA

· The Office Manager provides meticulous accounting, “front line” property management, and day-to-day administrative oversight for the church office as well as provides support for the business manager. Major responsibilities include accounts payable and receivable, payroll, deposits; oversight for inventories of office and facility supplies; management of facility concerns including interaction with outside vendors; implementation of church administrative procedures and policies. Successful candidate will have good interpersonal and customer-service skills, excellent communication and organization, attention to detail with ability to handle complicated, non-recurring tasks, be an empathetic “team player”, possess self-motivation, and take re-direction well. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic bookkeeping knowledge and experience essential. Experience with church administration highly desired.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, includes medical benefits
