Fresh News from Lutheran Social Services  July 24, 2008

The Food Pantry at Lutheran Social Services is almost empty!  Teshome, a staff member at our Van Nuys office e-mailed:

“I am writing to ask for your usual support in reminding donors for more food donations.  We will be out by the end of the week and have nothing for next week except what we are going to get from the food bank on Monday.”

The food bank never gives enough to meet the needs of those who come to us.  With our shaky economy, the number of those needing help grows every month.

Please email charlesbunnell123@yahoo.com or give Rev. Chuck Bunnell a call 818-782-5953 if you need to have your food donations picked up.
